Sunscreen is almost overlooked and becomes a second thought when it comes to kids and teens. There isn't a line of sunscreen that they can gravitate towards to and want to carry around.
With the popular rise of Marvel movies in pop culture it was a no brainer to design around the Marvel universe brand. I envisioned the design to be easy, elevated, and most of all relate back to Marvel. The idea of the pill shape bottles came up when I thought of the word extraordinary. Super heroes are extraordinary because of their super powers. The story lines of these Marvel characters always have to do with something scientific when it came to their transformation, so it made sense to go with the pill shaped bottles. After all, taking medication does something to our bodies to make us feel more than we are—extraordinary. I designed the sunscreen to be a spray on and a twist cap so that it works with ease. The color choices was based off of UV Ray spectrum. Each color reflected the SPF needed for the
time you spent out in the sun and a Marvel superhero. Lastly, to achieve the look of it being elevated, I kept the logo a tone on tone color so that there is a clear division with the colors.
